George Mason University’s Student Involvement and the Center for the Arts, in collaboration with Mason’s Computer Game Design program, and GMU Esports, team up once again for GAMEmason, an engaging two-day gaming convention on Mason’s Fairfax campus.  

GAMEmason 2024 will feature guest speakers from the industry, interactive learning sessions featuring faculty and staff from Mason as well as alumni and industry leaders, free arcade play, tabletop and console gaming, cosplay competition, artist alley featuring work by Mason students, vendors and businesses from across the game industry, and more! 

Varsity level collegiate Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Crew Battles and chess tournaments with teams from across the region will be held.

Attendees must be at least 16 years of age. Attendees aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees must have a ticket.  

Tickets $15 per day general admission, Mason students FREE.

Fees apply to purchases made online or over the phone but are waived for in-person purchases at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office. ($5 per ticket) No fees if purchased in person at the Center for the Arts Ticket Office.
