This workshop takes place at Bull Run Library.
Discover the joy of gel plate printing! Learn easy, hands-on techniques to create stunning, one-of-a-kind prints. Gel plate printing uses a gelatin base plate, inks, and other found materials to create fun prints that can’t be reproduced in other ways. Participants will discuss single and multi-layer prints, plus photo transfers. This workshop is taught by Valerie Acosta-Gonzalez, retired Air Force Veteran, artist, and assistant with the Veterans and the Arts Initiative at George Mason University. This workshop series is open and FREE to Veterans, Servicemembers, military family members, and military caregivers ages 18 and older. Space is limited.
Registration will open in March.
George Mason University’s Veterans and the Arts Initiative is proud to sponsor this workshop at Prince William Public Libraries.
