Observe as pianist Jeremy Denk, recipient of both the MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship and the Avery Fisher Prize, leads a master class with four George Mason University Dewberry School of Music students, working respectively with them in 30-minute sessions. The Cleveland Plain Dealer has described Denk, who is also a New York Times bestselling author, as "One of the most thoughtful and reliably interesting artists of our time."
This event is offered in conjunction with Denk’s Nov. 23 performance with the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra at the Center for the Arts at George Mason University.
