Steven Bectel’s Recital titled, “Low End Theory” aims to show off the Resonant and Powerful sound of the Bass Trombone through various styles and soundscapes, such as the Intimate and Reflective sound of Verhelst's, “Hymn for Planet Earth”, the energetic groove of Fetter’s “Spain”. You will experience a Vibrant display of Beauty and Warmth through Vaughan Williams’s “Concerto for Bass Tuba”, and finally a Low brass Chamber ensemble will deliver great Energy and Earth-Shaking Power through Kevin Day’s, “Ignition”.
