The satire group Capitol Fools returns to the Hylton Center for a special performance at this year’s Arts Alive! Festival with a hilarious takedown of America’s crazy political culture. Former cast members of Washington, D.C.’s, beloved institution, the Capitol Steps, entertain with raucous, irreverent song parodies, backward-talking spoonerisms, break-neck costume changes, and over-the-top impressions, delivering a witty, fast-paced take on the day’s news that reaches across the aisle to skewer politicians of all persuasions and help us find common ground in comedy. “It gave me hope that the United States may yet endure—if we can laugh at ourselves” ( Salon ).
