Woodwind Day 2026 has been POSTPONED due to inclement weather predicted for this Sunday, January 25th. Information regarding a new date will be posted soon.

This event is free and open to flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone students of all skill levels from 6th grade through 12th grade. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in instrument-specific masterclasses, reading sessions, and clinics on careers in music and preparing for auditions. Vendors will be on site all day. Additionally, this event will feature a performance recital by our George Mason University Woodwind Faculty, and very special guest artists, the Atlantic Reed Consort.
