Graphic Arts: Drypoint Printmaking Workshop

11
Discover the beauty of drypoint printmaking. Incorporating upcycled materials like clear plastic or TetraPak cartons, participants will scratch their designs into the surface, ink the plates, and pull prints by hand. This beginner-friendly method offers rich, velvety lines and a unique tactile quality—perfect for expressive fans of drawing and new artists alike! Led by Patrick Sargent, U.S. Air Force Veteran, artist, and adjunct faculty in George Mason University’s School of Art, this workshop is open and FREE to Veterans, Servicemembers, military family members, and military caregivers. Children ages 12 and up may participate alongside a parent/guardian. Space is limited.
Please reference our information sheet for details, including minimum age requirement and community policies regarding Veterans and the Arts on-site workshops. More information about the on-site workshop will be provided to registrants by email.
